Di ajang Liga Champions pasukan Pep Guardiola juga terlihat tampil memukau”, ujar Fabregas kepada media setempat.
“Tidak perlu diragukan lagi ini adalah klub Chelsea yang sama dengan musim panas lalu, tetapi apa yang sudah terjadi adalah kami menghadapi Manchester City yang menghadapi pertandingan dengan istirahat yang sangat jauh lebih baik ketimbang kami. Tentunya hal itu tidak lebih. Kami ingin menampilkan permainan terbaik kami di laga berikutnya”, Fabregas menambahkan.
“Musim panas lalu di titik ini kami telah tertinggal delapan angka, tetapi itu tidak berarti apa-apa bagi kami untuk melanjutkan performa penampilan terbaik kami di ajang Premier League. Jalan ini masih panjang di semua kompetisi. Kami masih memiliki kesempatan untuk memenangkan banyak pertandingan lainnya di musim panas kali ini”, tuntas Fabregas.
